Ameren customers in Missouri might see a slight uptick on their monthly bills next year

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Public Service Commission approved an application by the utility company, Ameren, to implement a renewable energy standard rate adjustment mechanism (RESRAM).

That charge will appear as a separate item on monthly electric bills. For a residential customer using 1,000 kWh per month, the RESRAM charge will be about $0.44 a month. It's expected to take effect on February 1st, 2020.
